Tóth and Son Smithy Ltd won an almost 50% contribution (44.939.355 HUF) from European Union on the tender of New Széchenyi Plan Dél-Alföld Operation Program "Development of business area". A smith factory was built in total value of 89.878.712 HUF.

Tóth and Son Smithy Ltd growed up from privat entrepreneur established in the 80's. At the beggining the master smith satisfied the demands of people around Akasztó by shoeing of horses, parts for horse-drawn vehicles and special handtools. The current chief executive officer joined to the production in 1997 and soon the privat entrepreneur turned to an Ltd.

The Ltd's profile changed basicly. Automotive parts and engined parts for the agriculture are manufactured (screws, discs, rims, gear-wheels, valves). Items are hammered till 2 kg at the moment. The new, 751.36m2 ground-place factory, which was built in a periphery and donated by the EU, allows to produce not only in one but now in more shifts, which was previously impractical because of the high noise level. It is especially important now when new orders are received. The new factory enabled to develope mainly the principal activity, the steel forming.

The new business area secures ideal working conditions for the employees and cost optimization for the Ltd.

We count on additional growing at the order value and of course at the turnover as the result of the project investment. Beyond that this development enables to extend our staff number, too. It reasonable to employ 5 additional workers after finishing the project.
